Yampano tops the list of artists with the most-watched content on YouTube

YouTube statistics reveal that in the first quarter of this year, the most-watched artist in Rwanda is Yampano, whose songs have been viewed over 6.9 million times.

He is followed by Bruce Melodie, whose music has been watched over 6.05 million times. In third place is Papi Claver, with over 4.7 million views.

Meddy comes in fourth place, also with over 4.7 million views, while Vestine and Dorcas are in fifth place with over 4.07 million views.

Diamond ranks sixth and is the only foreign artist in the top 10, with his songs garnering over 4.5 million views in Rwanda.

The Ben is in seventh place, with over 4.5 million views, followed by Juno Kizigenza in eighth place with over 4.1 million views.

In ninth place is Chriss Eazy, whose music has been watched over 4.06 million times, while Ambassadors of Christ Choir rounds out the top 10 with over 4 million views.

Most-Watched Songs

On the other hand, the most-watched song in Rwanda during this period is ‘Shenge’ by Juno Kizigenza, which has been viewed over 2.4 million times, followed closely by ‘Ngo’ by Yampano, also with over 2.4 million views.

In third place is ‘Ihema’ by Dorcas and Vestine, with over 2 million views. ‘Sambolela’ by Chriss Eazy comes in fourth, with over 1.9 million views, while ‘Mami’ by Ross Kana takes the fifth spot with over 1.7 million views.

‘True Love’ by The Ben is in sixth place with over 1.73 million views, followed by ‘Phenomena’ by Kenny Sol, which has also surpassed 1.7 million views.

In eighth place is ‘Beauty on Fire’ by Bruce Melodie, with over 1.4 million views. ‘Sibyange’ by Yampano takes ninth place with over 1.31 million views, while ‘Eh! Mbembe’ by Okkama rounds off the top 10, with over 1.2 million views.

It is important to note that these numbers reflect views from music lovers watching content from within Rwanda.
